Galatians 5:22-23 lists the Fruit of the Spirit: "love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."

1. Abiding in the Vine

Jesus stated in John 15:5: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." Spiritual fruit is not manufactured by human effort; it is produced naturally when we abide in Christ.

2. Evidence of True Conversion

While spiritual gifts are given for service, spiritual fruit reflects Christlike character. Love, gentleness, and self-control serve as a powerful witness of the Holy Spirit living within us.
