Colossians 3:13 urges: "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."

1. Forgiveness is a Choice, Not an Emotion

Forgiveness does not mean excusing sin or pretending pain didn’t happen. It means releasing your right to revenge into God’s hands, trusting Him as the righteous Judge.

2. Unforgiveness Harms the Host

Carrying resentment is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer. Forgiveness releases you from prison and releases God’s healing into your heart.
